The article included more details provided by Ms. Griffiths about her work to help Michael Esposito, from keeping him warm with her sweatshirt, to stopping the flow of blood from his crushed legs by using a belt to apply a tourniquet, to stoking his will to live, and placing a chair in front of him so he could not see a nearby dead woman.
