Organizational members and benefactors

Thank you for your interest in The Center for Nursing Advocacy’s organizational membership program. As you know, improving the public image of nursing is a critical step in ending the nursing shortage that threatens global health. When members of the public, particularly those who manage health budgets, understand why nurses are essential for the safe delivery of health care, they will direct more resources toward clinical nursing practice, research and education. These resources will build a larger, stronger and more diverse nursing profession to help protect the health of our society.

Why support us? Nurses have long cited their poor image as a major problem, but to our knowledge no organization has been devoted exclusively to helping them improve it. The Center is. We are dedicated to building an attractive and strong professional image that nurses control. With nurses and like-minded organizations as our partners, we analyze what the media is doing and try to improve it. We promote nursing as an ideal profession for the brightest students and talented older workers seeking a new career.

The Center for Nursing Advocacy is part of the solution to the most critical nursing crisis in modern history. Companies and other organizations can be part of it by supporting the Center. Doing so is also an excellent way for organizations to show good citizenship and enhance their own public image. Please join us, and earn the thanks of a grateful world.
